Albany, GA – The Albany State Golden Rams football team will host their final home game of the season on Saturday, October 26, with a 2 p.m. kickoff at the ASU Coliseum. This special game will honor the seniors of both the Golden Rams football team and the Marching Rams Show Band, while also raising awareness for breast cancer.
The Golden Rams come into this matchup with strong momentum after a dominant 52-6 Homecoming victory over Morehouse. Edward Waters enters the contest looking to bounce back after a narrow 20-27 loss to Savannah State. Since Edward Waters' return to the SIAC in 2021, Albany State has a 2-1 series advantage, though the Tigers edged out a 31-27 victory in their last meeting.
Saturday's game promises to be an emotional and competitive event, as the Golden Rams aim to close out their home season on a high note. Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program.
