The Albany State University Golden Rams got back to their winning ways after defeating the Savannah State Tigers (31-20) in Savannah, Georgia.  With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (6-2) overall and (4-1) in the SIAC.  The Tigers fell to (3-5) overall and (2-4) in the SIAC.
 
The Golden Rams took a (7-0) lead after Ja'Quez Williams scored on a 1-yard touchdown run.
 
The Tigers tied the score at (7-7) after DeMarion Colbert scored on a 43-yard touchdown pass from JT Hartage.  The scoring drive consisted of 7 plays for 60 yards.
 
Gilbert Brown connected on a 24-yard field to give the Golden Rams a (10-7) lead at the half.
 
In the 3^rd quarter, Jhaydon Sullivan connected with Rashad Jordan on a 14-yard touchdown pass to cap an 11-play drive that covered 98 yards.  The time of possession was 6 minutes and 2 seconds.
 
The Tigers responded when Jordan Clarke returned a punt for a 50-yard touchdown.  The score cut the Golden Rams lead to (17-13).
 
Jhaydon Sullivan connected with Rashad Jordan again for a 5-yard touchdown pass that extended the Golden Rams lead to (23-13). 
 
In the 4^th quarter, JT Hartage scored on a 3-yard run to cut the deficit to (23-20).  The scoring drive covered 75 yards on 8-plays.
 
The Golden Rams "Dirty Blue" Defense added points when Malik Barnes scored on a 7-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
 
The Golden Rams finished with 305 yards of total offense.  Jhaydon Sullivan completed 15 of his 20 attempts for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Ja'Quez Williams had 27 carries for 154 yards and 1 touchdown.  Rashad Jordan had 4 catches for 32 yards and 2 touchdowns.
 
The Golden Rams "Dirty Blue" Defense held the Tigers to 252 yards of total offense.  Stephan Pierre led the Golden Rams with 9 total tackles.  Malik Barnes led the defense with 2 tackles for a loss.  Stephan Pierre, Malik Barnes and Eric Price recorded a sack for the Golden Rams.  Brandarious Rawlings had an interception for the Golden Rams.
