Box Score CARROLLTON, Ga. - With nearly 5,000 fans in attendance for the matchup between Albany State University and the University of West Georgia, it was the Golden Rams who prevailed over the Wolves 26-14, taking a commanding lead of the series matchup.

- The Wolves got on the scoreboard first with adding a two-yard run by Williams at the 6:38 mark in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead. Â
- Albany State got off to a fast start with a 13-play, 85-yard second quarter opening drive that took over seven minutes and ended with a 20-yard touchdown pass fromÂ

 - The Wolves answered late in the fourth quarter with adding a four-yard touchdown to cut the Golden Rams lead 26-14. Â
