ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State University football head coach Gabe Giardnia is excited to get back to work in the wake of Saturday's season-opening loss to Valdosta State University at the ASU Coliseum.
 
"Every week's important for us," Giardina said. "We have to take every week as an opportunity to improve as a football team."
 
The Golden Rams will return to practice on Tuesday afternoon looking to fix mistakes and begin the focus on this Saturday's opponent, Mississippi College of the Gulf South Conference located in Clinton, Mississippi.
 
This will be the first time the Golden Rams and the Choctaws will met in a game.
