Game Day RAM-blings Albany State Women's Basketball vs. Columbus State

The Albany State Lady Rams will participate in another tournament when they participate in the in the SIAC-Peach Belt Challenge at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Ga. ASU's first opponent in the tournament will be the Columbus State Lady Cougars. Game time is set for Friday, Nov. 18 at 8:00 p.m.

Albany State (0-2) will be looking for its first win of the season after losing a pair of contests to Valdosta State University and the University of West Florida last weekend. In the loss to West Florida, senior point guard Zuri Frost recorded 23 points and six rebounds, and Ashley Johnson tallied 10 points.

Columbus State (0-0) will open its regular season against the Lady Rams. The Lady Cougars played an exhibition game on Nov. 12 against Agnes Scott College, winning 89-33.Alexis Carter led CSU with 13 points and six rebounds. Tatiana Wayne and Toxiana Wilson each scored 10 points.

Last season, Albany State dropped two contests to Columbus State by the scores of 81-46 (Nov. 14, 2015) and 71-47 (Dec. 8, 2015).
