Lady Rams defeat Miles College to complete season sweep

Fairfield, Ala.- Kristen Randolph recorded 10 kills and seven digs to lead Albany State Women's Volleyball to a 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-20 and 25-20) victory over SIAC foe Miles College in a non-conference matchup. With the win, ASU improves to 8-10 overall.  Miles falls to 4-13.
 
Justice Howard, Chelona Holmes and Brittianni Phillips each had eight kills, while setter Tiffany Roesler added a game-high 31 assists and 13 digs. Kaliah Carter led the team defensively with 15 digs. Howard also had three solo blocks.
 
Albany State returns to action on Monday, Oct. 5 when it travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to face the Stillman College Lady Tigers in a non-conference matchup. The Lady Rams won the initial contest 3-2 during the SIAC Crossover held in Albany on Sept. 24. Game time is slated for 6 p.m. (central time).
