Lady Rams Volleyball eliminates Clark Atlanta from SIAC Tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Kristen Randolph recorded a game-high 16 kills and seven digs to propel the Albany State Lady Rams to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-22 and 25-22) victory in the loser's bracket of the 2015 SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament. ASU (18-14) now advances to Friday's championship round where it will face the loser of the Kentucky State-Claflin game at 12 p.m. The contest will be played at the Birmingham Crossplex.
 
Clark Atlanta finishes the year with an overall record of 15-14. The Lady Panthers lost to Albany State three times this year.
 
Brittianni Phillips had eight kills and three block assists for Albany State, and Jahkishma Soto and Keonna Hobbs added seven kills apiece. Setter Tiffany Roesler recorded 36 assists, and Kaliah Carter led the ASU defense with 20 digs. Chelsae Bryant finished with nine digs.
 
Clark Atlanta was led by Cori Smith, who finished with a team-high 10 kills and six digs. Sierra Scoggins added another seven kills.
