Lady Rams slaughter archrival FVSU

ALBANY, Ga.- Justice Howard recorded 12 kills off 19 attacks to lead the Albany State Lady Rams to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-18 and 25-11) win over archrival Fort Valley State. With the victory, ASU improves to 12-10 overall and 10-3 in the SIAC. FVSU falls to 3-13, 1-12.
 
Brittianni Phillips added eight kills and two block assists. Setter Tiffany Roesler had 34 assists and five digs, and Kaliah Carter led the team defensively with 12 digs. Jahkishma Soto added eight digs.
 
Albany State returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 22 when it travels to Orangeburg, S.C. to face defending SIAC champion Claflin University. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
