Albany State Game Day RAM-blings- Miles College

The Albany State University Golden Rams and the Miles College Golden Bears will meet Saturday, September 27^th at Albany, Georgia. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Albany State University Coliseum.

The Golden Rams and Golden Bears will meet for the 48^th time in the series. Albany State leads the series 34-11-3. The two teams met in 2013 twice. Miles took the regular season contest 22-14 in Fairfield, Alabama before ASU won 17-14 in the SIAC Championship game in Atlanta, Georgia.

Albany State lost to Tuskegee 12-20 during Week 2 and had an open date last week. Running back Jarvis Small rushed 23 times for 161 yards in the Week 2 loss to Tuskegee. Quarterback Frank Rivers finished 16-37 passing for 164 yards and a touchdown, wide receiver Devonta Osborne caught five passes for 62 yards against Tuskegee. Defensively, Tavarius Washington led the Golden Rams with nine tackles (seven solo), and Cedric Ashe added six solo tackles.

Miles is coming off a 34-30 loss to Hampton University during Week 3. Quarterback Demetric Price was 19-34 with 289 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Running back Jonathan Clark rushed 21 times for 100 yards. Rodrick Holloman was the team's leading tacklers with a total of 10.
