Kristen Randolph led Albany State with eight kills against Alabama A&M

Lady Rams' Volleyball defeated by Alabama A&M

Sophomore Kristen Randolph recorded a team-high eight kills, but the Albany State Lady Rams were defeated by Division I Alabama A&M in straight sets (19-25, 18-25 and 22-25). With the loss, ASU falls to 1-4 on the season. Alabama A&M improves to 3-9.


Junior Jennifer Evans added six kills and eight digs for the Lady Rams. Junior setter Tiffany Roesler had 13 assists, while junior Kaliah Carter added 13 digs.


Albany State returns action on Thursday, September 18th when it participates in the SIAC Volleyball Crossover at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. The Lady Rams will face defending SIAC champion Kentucky State University in their first of five conference games during the tournament. Game time for that contest is slated for 8 a.m.
