Box Score ATLANTA, Ga.- Albany State running back Jarvis Small and kicker Stefan Whitehead have been named SIAC Players of the Week for their performances in the Golden Rams' 40-14 victory over Benedict College.
Small, a 5'7 junior from Brunswick, Georgia, is the SIAC Offensive Player of the Week. Small rushed for career-high 234 yards and four touchdowns against Benedict. He also recorded a 17-yard pass reception.
Whitehead, a 5'11 freshman from Fairburn, Georgia, is the SIAC Newcomer of the Week. He had seven kickoffs for a total of 416 yards with one touchback to help ASU defeat the Tigers.
