Lady Rams trounce Tuskegee

ALBANY, Ga.- Senior Jennifer Evans, recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs to lead the Albany State Lady Rams past Tuskegee University 3-0 (25-17, 25-23 and 25-17). With the win, ASU improves to 12-9 overall and 10-4 in the SIAC. Tuskegee falls to 11-13, 8-9.
Offensively, Kristen Randolph led the team with a game-high 15 kills. Setter Malikah Drummond recorded a career-high 35 assists. Kaliah Carter added 11 digs.
Albany State returns to action on Saturday, November 1st when it hosts the Claflin University Lady Tigers. Claflin won the initial meeting 3-1 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at the ASU HPER Gymnasium.
