Savannah, Ga.- Senior Jennifer Evans recorded nine kills, but the Albany State Lady Rams dropped an 0-3 (21-25, 10-25 and 7-25) decision to the Armstrong Atlantic Lady Pirates, the 19-ranked team in the nation. With the loss, ASU drops to 10-7 on the season and sees its three-game winning streak snapped.
Chelona Holmes, Justice Howard and Alexus Manning each had three kills for Albany State. Setter Tiffany Roesler added 19 assists, and libero Kaliah Carter led the team with 11 digs.
Albany State returns to action on Thursday, October 16th when they travel to Columbus, Georgia to face the Columbus State University Lady Cougars. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
